Easy Mock Up Walls for Your Art

I love art.  I love making it, I love looking at it, I love reveling in it.  And, of course, I love selling it.

I've struggled with how to take good photos of my art to show a true representation of what it would look like on a wall.  Only, I have no decent walls in my home to use (we have some odd colored walls, plus lots of kids, so the walls aren't in the greatest of shapes - AND the furniture isn't all that pretty either ...).

So how do you portray how wonderful your art really looks?  Mock ups!

Now, that sounds easier than it is.  I'm not a computer whiz.  It takes knowledge in Photoshop to know how to do that.  There are lots of sites you can buy mock ups from but you have to know how to manipulate that program in order to insert your art.

I found a program that's free, and very easy to use:  oh, my prints!  It is easy and gives some awesome ways to show off your art.  Here are some of my attempts to play with the program:

Don't they look great?!  And my kitchen will NEVER look as great as this one - let's just be honest.

The program allows you to upload directly onto their mock ups - just using .jpeg files.  The one issue I have is trying to determine that my art is the right size.  There isn't a way to upload a 20"x 20" and have it formatted correctly.  I had to estimate based on the other things in the picture as to what the proper size is.

Still, it's a great program and makes great pictures!

I highly recommend it if you are computer challenged like me!
